TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Delivery and recipient information
Accurate details:
You must provide a correct and complete recipient address and phone number. Incorrect information can lead to non-delivery and potential re-delivery fees.
Recipient availability:
If the recipient is unavailable, the florist may leave the flowers with an authorized person, at a secure location (like a reception desk), or call to arrange a new delivery time. Some services may consider the delivery successful if left unattended, while others may not, depending on the item.
Delivery timing:
Delivery times are often estimates and can be impacted by unforeseen circumstances, with some vendors specifying cut-off times for same-day delivery.
Proof of delivery
Some services may not require a signature, but others may ask you to sign for acceptance, indicating the goods were received in good condition.
Product and order issues
Flower availability: The specific flowers in an arrangement are subject to availability.
Substitutions: If a flower is unavailable, the florist will use a close alternative of equal or greater value and appearance without consulting you, or they may contact you to ask for advice or offer an alternative product.
Cancellations and refunds: There are strict policies for cancellations, often requiring 24-48 hours' notice before the delivery date. Due to the perishable nature of flowers, cancellations after dispatch are often not possible unless the product is defective.
Damaged or incorrect flowers: You must report any issues with the quality or correctness of the delivery within a specific timeframe, often within 1-3 hours of delivery, and may be required to provide photographic evidence.
Liability and other terms
Risk of loss: Responsibility for the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.
Returns: Due to their perishable nature, most services do not accept returns on flowers.
Limitation of liability: Many companies have clauses that limit their liability for issues like delayed delivery, unless the delay is due to their negligence or a proven product defect.
